Crockpot Applesauce



Homemade crockpot applesauce made with fresh apples and warm spices. Perfect as a snack or side dish!

Ingredients:

  • 10 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions:

Put apple slices in the slow cooker

Put water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl and mix them together

Add the apple slices to the bowl and mix the ingredients together

Turn the heat down to low, cover, and cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the apples are soft

When the apples are done cooking, mash them with a potato masher or fork until you get the texture you want

Enjoy! Serve hot or cold
